positive influence was founded by advertising industry veterans. The need for human analysis of social media posts came from learning the hard way:

In 2016, having just completed a documentary-style TV production for a large client, several old video-based social media posts made by the lead character were unearthed and brought the project to an abrupt end.  

Wanting to prevent this from ever happening again, a quick and exhaustive search resulted in finding only AI algorithm-based solutions that would not have caught the offending posts.

After realizing that only human-based research would have prevented this catastrophe positive influence was born.
